The action spectacle based on the popular motor racing sport, F1 The Movie starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, and more, is now available digitally.

Latest offering from the Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski, the movie about “the greatest that never was” hit cinema screens worldwide in June 2025.

Two months later, F1 is now up for grabs on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home — all digital platforms where the film is available for buying or renting.

However, the movie which is produced by Apple Studios will be available to stream on the company’s digital network, Apple TV+, around September or October.

In the meantime, here is a round up of the most intriguing and anticipated titles of this year which will be arriving on streaming soon:

On Swift Horses

This indie feature starring Jacob Elordi, Diego Calva, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Will Poulter, among others, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and was released by Sony Pictures in the US, April 2025.

Now the movie will be available to stream via Netflix, starting today, August 23.

Thunderbolts

Marvel’s big ensemble — starring Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Sebastian Stan, and many others — Thunderbolts was released in cinemas on May 2, 2025.

The movie will make its much awaited streaming debut on August 27, via Disney+.

Highest 2 Lowest

Spike Lee’s hotly anticipated remake of Akira Kurosawa’s Japanese classic High and Low, starring Denzel Washington, Highest 2 Lowest premiered at Cannes Film Festival this year, and arrived in theatres on August 15.

The movie is gearing up for its streaming debut via Apple TV+, which has set the date at September 5.

Swiped

Starring Lily James as the founder and former CEO of the mega popular dating app Bumble, Swiped will premiere on September 9, at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Distributed by Hulu, the movie will be available to stream on the platform September 19, while territories other than the US can catch the movie on Disney+ after it releases on streaming.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning

Tom Cruise’s final appearance as secret agent Ethan Hunt was released to much fanfare this year — first at Cannes and then theatrically, in May 2025.

Owned and distributed by Paramount Pictures, the movie is expected to stream on Paramount+ “sometime in late September or early October”, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Cillian Murphy’s first screen role since his Oscar winning turn in Oppenheimer will see him play a mentally struggling headteacher at a reform school.

While the movie is slated for a theatrical release on September 19, it will be available to stream via Netflix on October 3.

Frankenstein

Guillermo del Toro’s exciting update of a sci-fi classic, starring Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, and Mia Goth, Frankenstein is set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September 2025.

Following a limited theatrical release on October 17, the movie will be available to stream on Netflix by November 7.

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery

Third installment in Rian Johnson’s celebrated whodunnit franchise starring Daniel Craig, Wake Up Dead Man has the likes of Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Jeremy Renner, Josh Brolin, Glenn Close, and several others joining in on the fun this time.

The movie will be released by Netflix on December 12, 2025.
