Prince Harry returned to the United Kingdom for a four day trip on September 8, 2025.

It is expected that the 40-year-old Duke of Sussex will stay in the country from Monday to Thursday to carry out his engagements. His schedule seems to be packed, keeping him busy.

On his first day back, which coincided with Queen Elizabeth II’s death anniversary, he had all eyes on him as he went to pay his respects to his late grandmother and honoured her by visiting her grave in Windsor and placing flowers.

After visiting the late Queen’s resting place, the Prince also made his way to the WellChild Awards, where he playfully interacted with ill children and their carers.

Harry then made headlines after adding an unexpected stop to his trip. The next day, he was set to make his way to Nottingham for a charity event supporting grassroots organizations working with young people.

Now that he has arrive in the city, his second day in the UK was also full of moments that stood out:

Eight years after his and Meghan Markle’s first joint royal engagement, Prince Harry has made his way back to the same city.

The Duke, who left his royal duties along with Meghan five years ago and moved to live in California, arrived in Nottingham on September 9.

During his visit to the city, he revealed a personal donation to Children in Need, while the Duchess of Sussex stayed in the United States with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Travel disruption from strikes

Caught in traffic due to a Tube Strike, Prince Harry was able to reach the Nottingham charity engagement 45 minutes late.

He made the trip from London on Tuesday, to stop by the organisation he has long supported, the Community Recording Studio (CRS).

As per his aides, the holdup came from severe traffic across London’s roads.

Now that he is no longer a working Royal, the Duke doesn’t have access to the privileges like blue-light police escorts, who would have once helped him quickly bypass traffic.

Major donation

During his trip to Nottingham, Prince Harry managed to make headlines once again after announcing £1.1million to BBC Children in Need to support grassroots groups working hard to manage youth violence.

While visiting CRS, the Duke of Sussex who has been a longtime supporter of organisations in the city announced a donation from his own money.

The initiative aims to create opportunities for youngsters, develop their talents, and steer them away from violence.
