Prince Harry’s heartfelt tributes to family members while in UK

Prince Harry’s latest visit to the United Kingdom has captured the attention of many.

Making the headlines for his return, many have speculated whether he would be reuniting with his father King Charles.

He arrived in the country on September 8, 2025, for a four day visit to complete all his engagements.

From personal tributes to charitable engagements, the Duke of Sussex’s trip is filled with emotional and meaningful moments.

Here are some of the special tributes he made or is set to make during his trip:

Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II

Upon arrival in the UK, the 40-year-old Duke made his way straight to Windsor to pay his respects to his grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s grave.

Due to his trip coinciding with the late Monarch’s third death anniversary, Harry travelled to St. George's Chapel in Windsor and honoured her by laying a wreath of flowers at her burial place.

Queen Elizabeth II had breathed her last on September 8, 2022, at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

After her state burial, she was laid to rest on September 19, 11 days later, at the King George VI Memorial Chapel at Windsor Castle, alongside her beloved husband Prince Phillip.

Subtle nod to Meghan Markle?

Prince Harry seemed to have a packed and busy schedule during his return to the United Kingdom.

However, despite having a busy schedule, he surprised fans by adding an unexpected stop to his trip.

The day after his arrival in the country, on September 9, Harry stopped by Nottingham for a charity event supporting grassroots organizations working with young people.

This brought back memories for some as this is where he had his first joint royal engagement with Meghan Markle, eight years ago.

While the Duchess of Sussex and their two children Prince Archie and Lilibet stayed back in California, Harry also announced that he will be making a personal donation to Children in Need.

He is also set to honour his mother Princess Diana?

On Thursday morning, which is expected to be his last day in the UK, Prince Harry will attend a brief engagement for the Diana Awards,

He plans to connect with young people supported by the charity created in memory of his late mother Princess Diana.

The Diana Awards celebrates the accomplishments of inspiring young individuals worldwide.

This marks the Duke’s last engagement in the United Kingdom this week, after a series of notable appearances in both London and Nottingham.

Despite Harry's eventful trip, everyone seems to be focused on a potential reunion with his father. 

Rumours of Harry reuniting with King Charles have been making the rounds on the internet. But so far, there has been no confirmation about a reunion but reports have suggested that King Charles is traveling from Scotland to London.

This has sparked even more speculation about a possible meeting with his youngest son during his trip.

According to The Sun, the 76-year-old King was seen boarding a plane at Aberdeen airport on September 10.

The publication also noted that the Monarch in enroute to London, where Prince Harry is also present.
