Saturday Night Live has shaken things up after its grand 50th season for its upcoming installment.

After losing multiple cast members, a new wave of fresh talent is expected to hit the studio of the sketch comedy show for its 51st season.

The newcomers will not only step into the spotlight following in the footsteps of legends of the returning cast but they will also have some major shoes to fill after some cast members’ departure from the show.

Fans were shocked to learn that some of their favourites, Devon Walker, Emil Wakim, Michael Longfellow, Heidi Gardner, and Ego Nwodim, won’t be returning to the show, but with the new lineup, they can expect to see some fresh sketches, new impressions and more fun.

Here is the list of the new cast members joining SNL:

Veronika Slowikowska

Canadian actress and comedian Veronika Slowikowska is expected to be the new cast member of Saturday Night Live.

She is known for her role in What We Do in the Shadows and has also appeared in EXmas, Davey and Jonesie's Locker and more productions.

Jeremy Culhane

Jeremy Culhane is set to be a part of the cast of SNL in season 51.

The comedian from Altadena, California is known for his work with the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles.

Jeremy has also worked on productions like American Vandal and Dropout TV.

Tommy Brennan

With roots in stand-up comedy, Tommy Brennan will be joining the remarkable cast of SNL for his debut season.

Kam Patterson

Known for his sharp stand-up comedy, Kam Patterson will be stepping into the spotlight, joining season 51 of SNL.

He will also appear in the upcoming Netflix comedy 72 Hours alongside the star Kevin Hart, and future castmates Marcello Hernández and Ben Marshall.
