Tech billionaires named in latest Epstein files release
Elon Musk’s name appears in new records with December 2014 entry noting a possible visit to Epstein’s private island

In a stunning series of events, newly released documents from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate have revealed fresh details about the late financier’s connections with some of the wealthiest men in the world.
The files, turned over to the House Oversight Committee by the Epstein Estate, include flight logs, phone messages, daily schedules, and financial ledgers.
Among the names mentioned are three of the biggest figures in the tech industry.
Elon Musk
SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s name appears in the new records with a December 2014 entry noting a possible visit to Epstein’s private island.
The entry read: “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?).”
Notably, Musk has consistently denied ever visiting the island, though he previously confirmed Epstein had extended an invitation, which he declined.
He has also issued a denial , responding on X (formerly Twitter) to another account’s post on the subject: “This is false,” he wrote without elaborating.
Bill Gates
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is mentioned in a December 2014 entry that referred to a tentative breakfast meeting with Epstein.
Gates has publicly acknowledged meeting Epstein several times, later calling it “a mistake in judgment.”
The two were reported to have discussed philanthropy, though Gates has repeatedly denied any involvement in Epstein’s criminal activities.
Peter Thiel
PayPal co-founder and venture capitalist Peter Thiel’s name is also included in the documents. An entry from November 2017 references a planned lunch with Thiel.
Another note from February 2019 mentions a meeting with Steve Bannon, Donald Trump’s former adviser, suggesting Epstein maintained contact with prominent political and business figures long after his 2008 conviction.
For those unversed, Epstein died in 2019 in a New York jail while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, but his network of powerful connections continues to cast a long shadow.
