Hayley Williams recently set the record straight on her the controversial lyrics of her song, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.

The country music superstar, whose song’s lyrics “Racist Country Singer” recently became viral, appeared on the latest edition of the New York Times' Popcast where she addressed the rumours surrounding the title track of her latest solo album.

During the show, the 36-year-old singer was asked if she wanted to name names, she admitted that "it could be a couple," but was not afraid to reveal the exact name she had in mind.

"I’m always talking about Morgan Wallen. I don't give a s---," said the Paramore frontwoman said, adding, "Find me at Whole Foods bitch. I don't care. I just don't care."

Her dig at Wallen dates back in 2021 where his video of using the N-word surfaced, for which he received widespread criticism.

At that time, multiple country music stars spoke out against his use of the word at the time, including Mickey Guyton, Maren Morris, and Kelsea Ballerini.

The American country singer later apologised and told PEOPLE in an interview that he is "embarrassed and sorry".

"I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back," said Morgan Wallen, adding, "There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better."
