Sabrina Carpenter celebrates Taylor Swift’s ‘Showgirl’ album release

Taylor Swift is basking in love and praise following the release of her highly anticipated album The Life of a Showgirl, and among the first to celebrate was fellow pop star, and close friend, Sabrina Carpenter.

Shortly after the drop of her album, Carpenter, who features on the album’s title track, took to Instagram stories to share her excitement. 

Reposting Swift’s announcement, the On  My Way hitmaker added a sweet caption, “it’s out :’)” with heart emojis.

She followed it with a direct Spotify link to their duet, and in a final slide, a touching throwback photo of the two at the 2025 Grammy Awards. The picture showed kissing on Carpenter’s head, along with the message, “I love you Taylor.”

The heartfelt shout out comes as no surprise, given their longstanding friendship. Carpenter served as the opening act for multiple legs of Swift’s record breaking Eras Tour across Latin America, Australia, and Asia. Their bond shone in Sydney when they teamed up for a medley of White Horse and Coney Island.

With Carpenter as the only credited guest on The Life of a Showgirl, the collaboration marks a new milestone in their musical journey together.
