Christina Haack’s son, 10, calls out her ‘bad choices in men’
Check out what Christina Haack’s son Brayden told her after she filed for divorce from Josh Hall in 2024

Christina Haack’s 10-year-old son didn’t hold back when it came to her relationship choices.
After her 2024 divorce filing from Joshua Hall, the HGTV star shared that her son Brayden surprised her with some very honest words.
Haack, 42, told Us Weekly, "He was just like, ‘You’re a wonderful mom, you’re a great person. You’re, like, amazing, you just make really bad choices in men."
Comforting his mom during the breakup
Christina recalled how, early on during the breakup Brayden would sleep in bed with her to comfort her.
"When we first split up, Brayden, my 10-year-old, he slept in bed with me," she continued, "He was speaking life into me."
She also remembered another sweet but honest moment from him, "He said, ‘Dad’s the best, but you make bad choices.’ Sorry, Tarek, he loves you, obviously."
Kids noticed the relationship issues
Brayden’s words made Haack reflect on her past relationships. She and Joshua Hall had married in 2022 but filed for divorce in July 2024 as Christina said her kids weren’t surprised by the breakup.
She said, "The kids would bring it up to me, Dad and Heather [Rae El Moussa] hold hands. Dad and Heather are cuddly … You guys don’t like each other. You don’t even look at each other like you like each other."
The 42-year-old admitted this was hard to hear and made her realize something deeper, "That’s a really sad thing to hear and I’m like, ‘What am I doing showing them that this is normal? I’m not happy and they can see that. It’s such a lesson."
Her children are growing up fast
Christina has three children, Brayden and 15-year-old Taylor with Tarek El Moussa (they married in 2009 and divorced in 2018) and 6-year-old Hudson with ex-husband Ant Anstead.
She says her children especially Brayden, are becoming very mature for their age.
"He was just trying to protect me," she said of Brayden. "It was so sweet."
Joshua Hall’s harsh post-divorce message
After their divorce was finalized in August, Joshua Hall made a pointed Instagram post.
"Excited to spend Labor Day weekend in the real reality," Hall captioned a photo of himself wearing a cowboy hat and petting a saddled horse.
He added, "Finally, legally divorced and a free man, I’ve always worked hard, kept what’s mine, and declined handouts, and I’m keeping it that way. Lesson learned: don’t marry someone who needs constant public validation and will use your personal drama for attention."
A source close to Joshua Hall told Fox News Digital
This was one of the fairest divorces on reality TV. Josh agreed to split everything they earned together during the marriage, and they each kept what they had before getting married.
