Prince Harry ‘falls into trap’ as reconciliation with King Charles crumbles

Prince Harry is reportedly frustrated after his recent UK tour, which had started as a success, ended in renewed controversy and strained relations with King Charles.

The Duke of Sussex’s long-awaited meeting with his father at Clarence House last month was meant to mark a step toward reconciliation after nearly two years apart. According to insiders, the King had “special preparations” made for private tea, including Harry’s favourite chocolate biscuit cake and a waiting birthday gift.

However, the situation soured after The Sun described the meeting as resembling that of an “official visitor” rather than a family reunion. A spokesperson for Harry fired back at the “inaccuracies” and urged “men in grey suits” to “stay out” of his relationship with the monarch.

Royal expert Tom Sykes believes Harry “fell into a trap” set by his detractors. “With his trademark angry outburst, Harry walked right into its jaws by taking the bait,” Sykes wrote in The Royalist. 

He claimed that courtiers had deliberately provoked Harry to reignite tensions, leaving the King “saddened” and reconciliation efforts once again in jeopardy.
