Meghan Markle adds royal spark to her Paris Fashion Week visit

Meghan Markle recently added a royal spark to her visit to Paris Fashion Week.

The Duchess of Sussex, who made a surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week on her first trip to Europe since the 2023 Invictus Games, took to Instagram and shared a video clip from her visit to Paris, France that caused uproar on among her 4.2 million social media followers.

In the video, a footage appears to be filmed from the duchess's point of view, showing her putting her feet up inside the car as it passes bridges including the Pont Alexandre III and the Pont des Invalides.

It is to be noted here that it’s the same bridge where the former actress’ late mother in law, Diana, boyfriend Dodi Fayed and her driver Henri Paul tragically died in August 1997.

Many of her followers expressed their horror at the Diana associations, with royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams calling her post "utterly bewildering", "beyond stupid", "insensitive beyond belief".

Fitzwilliams also suggested Prince Harry could take a dim view of his wife's post, telling Daily Mail, "I don't understand what on earth she was thinking - well, she can't have been thinking. No adviser would ever advise doing something so strange."

According to the expert, Meghan Markle has every right to go to fashion events but to share a video which had any connections with the tragic death of the Princess of Wales defies belief.
