Taylor Swift spills on catching up with Ed Sheeran at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding

Taylor Swift is opening up about her long-standing friendship with English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.

In an appearance on the U.K.’s Hits Radio Breakfast Show on Friday, October 3, the 35-year-old pop sensation discussed what she and Sheeran chatted about while attending Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding on September 27.

"I saw [Sheeran] last weekend, actually, at a wedding of one of our best friends," Swift said, referring to Gomez.

"We were just talking about how much we love when he came out onstage with me at Wembley during the Eras Tour," she added, referencing Sheeran’s surprise appearance at her London gig in 2024, where the pair performed their hit End Game.

Elsewhere in her interview, the Opalite songstress joked that there’s nothing that she and the Perfect hitmaker love more than being asked to perform at special occasions.

“We spoke to Ed Sheeran a few weeks back, and he told us he is constantly asked to perform at people’s weddings. So is he singing at your wedding?” host Fleur East asked Swift, who is engaged to NFL star Travis Kelce.

“Oh, it would be hard to keep him from it, I think,” the Blank Space singer quipped.

It is worth noting that Swift has been close friends with Gomez since 2008, when both dated Jonas' brother.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift's friendship with Ed Sheeran began in 2012 when he opened for her on the Red Tour, and the pair have since collaborated on multiple songs and maintained a strong bond.
