King Charles and Prince William’s relationship ‘collapses into silence’ after shocking revelation

Prince William and King Charles’s relationship is seemingly hitting new rocks after the Prince of Wales made a shocking yet unexpected confession about his and Harry’s childhood.

In an interview with host Eugene Levy in his Apple TV+ show The Reluctant Traveler, the 43-year-old prince spoke about he will make a conscious effort not to repeat the same practices that “Harry and I had to grow up in,” once he ascends to the throne.

“I hope we don’t go back to some of the practices in the past that Harry and I had to grow up in – and I’ll do everything I can to make sure we don’t regress in that situation,” William remarked.

Unveiling his plans, he added, "I think it’s safe to say that change is on my agenda. Change for good. And I embrace that and I enjoy that change—I don’t fear it."

"That’s the bit that excites me, is the idea of being able to bring some change. Not overly radical change, but changes that I think that need to happen," the father of three continued.

Shortly after William’s candid remarks, several well-known sources, including Rob Shuter's ShuterScoop, claimed that his relationship with King Charles has "collapsed into silence," to the point that they are no longer exchanging calls, texts, or meeting in person.

The report further shared that the 76-year-old King views his eldest son’s behaviour as “betrayal, not honesty.”

It is worth noting that rumours of a strained relationship between Willaim and Chrales have been increasing, especially after the monarch’s youngest son, Prince Harry, attempted to reconcile with his father last month.
