Taylor Swift has firmly shut down fan theories suggesting she plans to retire from music after marrying NFL star Travis Kelce, calling the idea “shockingly offensive.”

During an appearance on BBC Radio 2’s The Scott Mills Breakfast Show, the 35-year-old pop icon laughed off speculation that her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, might be her last album.

“It’s not why people get married — so they can quit their job,” Swift said.

“I love the person I’m with because he loves what I do and supports it.” she further added.

The Blank Space singer praised Kelce for sharing her drive and passion, saying their bond relies on mutual respect for each other’s careers.

“We both perform for three and a half hours in stadiums — mine’s a show, his is a game,” she added.

The couple, who announced their engagement in August, have been one of Hollywood’s favorite power duos.

Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl, released on October 3, became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day this year, proving that retirement is far from her plans.
