OpenAI unveils new ChatGPT feature: List of apps AI chatbot can now interact with
Canva’s integration enables users to design, edit, and preview visuals directly within ChatGPT

OpenAI has rolled out one of its most significant updates to date, a new feature that allows ChatGPT interact directly with popular third-party apps.
The announcement was made during OpenAI’s annual “Developer Day” in San Francisco, US, where CEO Sam Altman revealed the new tool, called “Apps SDK.”
According to Altman, the new feature will turn ChatGPT into a digital hub capable of performing real-world tasks through external platforms.
Altman also described the feature as a step toward making ChatGPT not just a conversational AI, but a “personal digital assistant for everything.”
How the feature works
With “Apps SDK,” ChatGPT users can connect their favourite apps and perform actions seamlessly through conversation.
The integration allows users to log into external services once and then issue natural language commands to execute tasks, from designing graphics to booking vacations or finding homes.
Here’s a list of apps AI chatbot can now interact with.
Spotify
Through its new link with Spotify, ChatGPT can now create personalised playlists, recommend new songs, and explore podcasts, all via conversational prompts.
Canva
Canva’s integration enables users to design, edit, and preview visuals directly within ChatGPT, making it easier for marketers and creators to craft content without switching platforms.
Coursera
Students can now discover and enroll in online courses from Coursera’s extensive catalog by asking ChatGPT about specific subjects or career paths.
Zillow
For real estate enthusiasts, the Zillow app allows users to browse listings, get home value estimates, and explore neighborhoods, without leaving ChatGPT.
Figma
Designers can use Figma’s collaborative interface tool directly inside ChatGPT to brainstorm ideas or edit wireframes in real time.
Booking.com
Travellers can now search, compare, and book hotels or flights through ChatGPT, thanks to Booking.com’s connected API, creating an all-in-one travel assistant experience.
Expedia
Expedia’s link enhances trip planning by saving personalised recommendations from ChatGPT directly to the user’s Expedia profile.
Notably, the update is currently unavailable in Europe due to data regulations.
Moreover, additional integrations with Uber, AllTrails, and DoorDash are expected later this year, signaling OpenAI’s next big move toward making ChatGPT the world’s most connected digital AI assistant.
