Prince William hailed as a ‘wonderful man'

Prince William, who shared a special birthday message for Dame Mary Berry earlier this year, has recently been hailed as a “wonderful man” by the TV cooking legend.

While praising the prince of Wales, the former Great British Bake Off presenter, as per GB News, shared insights gained from multiple encounters with the Prince and Princess of Wales over the years.

The 90-year-old presenter, who received her damehood in 2021, highlighted the future King’s commitment to his work with homeless communities, saying, "He slept on the streets, you know. He wants to find out about how everybody is in the country.

"He lives for all of us. I admire him. He sets an example."

It’s worth mentioning here that Dame Mary and the Prince and Princess of Wales’ connection date back over a decade.

Their professional relationship has included several high-profile collaborations, notably when the Princess joined the baker at the Back to Nature festival at RHS Garden Wisley back in 2019.

The couple also appeared alongside the baking expert in her BBC's Christmas special, A Very Berry Christmas, six years ago.
