Ben Affleck's body language exposes true feelings about Jennifer Lopez reunion

Bennifers were left shocked when their favourite couple, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez recently reunited on the Kiss of the Spider Woman red carpet for the first time since their divorce.

The ex-couple, who got officially divorced earlier this year in January, posed together at singer-actress' upcoming movie premiere, held in New York City, on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Their first red carpet reunion was thoroughly analysed by a body language expert Judi James, who dished out interesting details to the Daily Mail.

According to the body expert, the former couple's latest appearance showed that the exes, who were married for almost two years, had switched roles as it used to be the 56-year-old actress putting in all the efforts in posing on the red carpet when she was with the Gone Girl actor.

James also explained that Affleck's old yet usual public appearance suggested "an aversion to being a Hollywood show-pony.”

According to her, the The Batman star's sudden high-energy behavior and broad smile indicate he may have an "inner tension".

While comparing it with the Ain’t Your Mama singer's energy, James noted that her smile seemed to reveal a similar amount of effort just as her ex-husband, as she had a "wide, teeth-baring [smile] that shows little sign of actual joy".

In the end, the body language expert noted, "It's clear the couple want to signal an ongoing friendship here but Ben's rigid, overkill smiles and expressions plus his rather jerkily animated effort to look happy hints at some awkwardness and tension."
