George Clooney reflects on his decision to raise his twins outside Hollywood
George Clooney gets candid about protecting his kids from Hollywood life

George Clooney shared that, in hindsight, he’s very content with his decision to raise his kids away from Hollywood.
In an interview with Esquire published October 6, the 64-year-old actor and filmmaker opened up about his family life, particularly his choice to raise his children in France.
"You know, we live on a farm in France. A good portion of my life growing up was on a farm, and as a kid I hated the whole idea of it. But now, for them, it's like — they're not on their iPads, you know? They have dinner with grown-ups and have to take their dishes in. They have a much better life," Clooney revealed.
He explained that he was “worried” about raising his children in Los Angeles, especially within “the culture of Hollywood,” as he felt that they would never get a “fair share in life.”
"I don't want them to be walking around worried about paparazzi. I don't want them being compared to somebody else's famous kids," the Ocean’s Eleven actor noted.
It is worth noting that George Clooney shares twins, Alexander and Ella, born in 2017, with his wife Amal Clooney.
