Makeup artist Daniel Martin has revealed that Meghan Markle’s radiant appearance at Paris Fashion Week brought him the kind of overwhelming reaction he hadn’t experienced since her royal wedding.
Speaking to HELLO!, the Duchess of Sussex’s longtime friend and beauty artist admitted, “I shut down, to be honest. I was so overwhelmed. I hadn’t had a reaction like that since her wedding.”
Martin, who traveled to Paris for Pierpaolo Piccioli’s debut Balenciaga show, shared that the Duchess’ glowing look—described on his Instagram Story as “glass skin 2.0 hits next level... ‘Ceramic’”—was all about minimalism and radiance.
He mixed Tatcha’s Longevity Serum into Meghan’s foundation for added luminosity, finishing with Tom Ford’s contour cream and a touch of powder only on her T-zone.
“I just wanted to bring hydration back into her skin and keep everything light, fresh, and radiant,” he explained.
Beyond makeup, Martin is channeling his creative touch into a new collaboration with Companion Candles, launching this month, with proceeds supporting Mission Meow, a nonprofit organization that helps animals.
