Jennifer Aniston makes raw confession about her 20-year fertility struggle

Jennifer Aniston recently opened up about her 20-year struggle to have a baby, contradicting previous claims that she didn't want to become a mother.

The Friends star during an interview with Harper's Bazaar UK's November issue addressed the false narrative that she didn't want to become a mother because she's a "selfish workaholic".

"They didn’t know my story," the 56-year-old actress said, adding that what she had been going through over the past 20 years to try to pursue a family, because she never went out there and tell them her medical woes.

Aniston, who was married to actor Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, went on to say, "That’s not anybody’s business. But there comes a point when you can’t not hear it.

"The narrative about how I won’t have a baby, won’t have a family, because I’m selfish, a workaholic.

"It does affect me – I’m just a human being. We’re all human beings. That’s why I thought, 'What the hell?'"

The actress has previously revealed back in 2022 that she had unsuccessfully tried IVF, admitting that she wished she had frozen her eggs years earlier.
