Prince William faces growing burden alone: Running out of royals
Prince William faces royal strain as palace support dwindles

Prince William is reportedly facing one of the toughest phases of his royal career as his duties continue to expand with few senior royals left to share the load.
A new report suggests that the Prince of Wales may soon have to depend on younger, lesser-known members of the royal family, such as Lady Louise Windsor, to manage the increasing demands of royal engagements.
Royal commentator Christopher Wilson, writing for the Daily Mail, noted, “That leaves dark-horse contender Lady Louise Windsor, 21, who charms all who meet her and could be a decorative and useful asset to the royal team.”
However, Wilson added that her mother, the Duchess of Edinburgh, “is just as likely to want her to stay out of the spotlight.”
The expert further remarked, “Of Louise's brother James, 17, little is known of his character and personality or whether he'd wish to serve as a front-rank royal – even if William wished it.”
With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle out of royal life and older royals stepping back, Wilson warned that “public demand for royal appearances remains as high as ever,” leaving William in an increasingly challenging position.
