Sean Diddy Comb's life behind bars: All you need to know about
What Diddy's life is really like after shocking conviction

The fall of Sean “Diddy” Combs has not yet subsided among both Hollywood and the fans. After being proclaimed as one of the largest movers in music scene, the hip-hop mogul is serving a jail term after a high-profile trial that revealed outrageous information about his personal life and misuse of power.
Sentencing and prison life
Reuters reports that on October 3, 2025 after being found guilty of two counts of transporting individuals to engage in prostitution, Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced Diddy to 50 months in federal prison.
He however was absolved of grosser offenses such as racketeering and sex trafficking. The court also fined him 500, 000 and five years of supervised release.
According to The New York Times, the rapper-producer is already incarcerated at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention center (MDC), which has in the past accommodated notable criminals. His defense team has asserted that Diddy is being given credit on already consumed time since his arrest in September 2024.
Life behind bars
People Magazine has reported that surprisingly Combs has been actively involved in mentoring other inmates in a jail based business course he informally calls Free Game with Diddy.
According to the prison sources, he is concentrating on education, punishment, and self-reflection, but his defense team asserts that he is still fighting PTSD and depression after years of substance abuse.
Reactions and what’s next
Prosecutors had initially sought an 11-year sentence based on several testimonies which were given by the former associates and ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura who claimed that she feared her life in case Combs was released.
In the meantime, such celebrities as Yung Miami and producer Dallas Austin have addressed the judge asking him to be lenient, pointing out how Diddy has been philanthropic.
Diddy confessed that he was ashamed of his actions and disgusted with them, according to Reuters. One of his attorneys is appealing on the grounds that the court unfairly balanced the allegations that were connected to charges against which he was acquitted.
