Vin Diesel's surprising favourite film character

Vin Diesel recently talked about his favourite film character and it’s not Dominic Toretto.

While revealing his surprising top-pick film character, the 58-year-old actor took to Instagram and honoured his character Xander Cage from 2017 movie, XXX: Return of Xander Cage. 

"When I think about the characters I have the honor to portray, Dom, Riddick, Xander, Kaulder, Groot… they all have something that speaks to me on a deeper level," the Fast X star said, adding, "But, I have to say the one that is the most outright fun, the most moments of levity fueled by extreme sports action, is Xander Cage."

According to Diesel, his character Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy is fun too but what’s incredible about Xander is that it started as the fun answer to the spy genre.

While comparing it to James Bond franchise that is British, the The Last Witch Hunter actor called his movie an American answer to Bond, which grew into something even bigger.

"A truly global franchise with the most international cast you could imagine," said the actor who will soon star in Fast X: Part 2.

Before concluding his post. Vin Diesel wrote, "I didn’t want the week to end without thanking you all for making “The Return of Xander Cage” the top watched movie of October on Paramount+ around the world."

The actor also wished his fans a great weekend and added hashtag of Xander Cage.
