Prince William is joining forces with Brazilian supermodel and environmental advocate Gisele Bündchen, but not for a royal cause or fashion campaign.

According to People, Bündchen has officially joined the council of the 43-year-old's Earthshot Prize, an initiative that rewards groundbreaking ideas aimed at tackling the world’s biggest environmental challenges.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect; the fifth annual awards ceremony will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on November 5.

The supermodel-turned-philanthropist will help choose this year’s winners alongside an impressive lineup of global changemakers, including Sir David Attenborough and Cate Blanchett.

Calling it an “honor,” Gisele said protecting nature has always been close to her heart.

“Every action matters, big or small. Together we can nurture change to protect the planet we call home,” she said.

Prince William is expected to attend several events in Brazil before heading to the UN climate conference.
