King Charles’ latest decision redeems following new leak in Prince Andrew’s scandal

According to reports last month, royal sources claimed that King Charles would like Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson to make themselves “invisible” for future royal attendances, with the pair outright barred from this year’s Christmas celebrations at Sandringham.

It would appear that this decision, initially reported following the Duchess of York’s leaked e-mail to sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, has been largely absolved in view of another similar revelation in the case of the King’s younger brother.

Latest records from The Sun and Mail on Sunday have disclosed a leaked e-mail, this time, sent from the Duke of York to his late acquaintance.

Part of the correspondence, dated around February 2011, revealed that Andrew wrote to Epstein, “It would seem we are in this together and will have to rise above it.”

The e-mail’s date is of particular importance as the Duke previously stated in his BBC interview from 2019 that he had halted communication with Jeffrey Epstein in 2010 altogether, following the publishing of the royal’s photograph with Virginia Guiffre, one of the girls to accuse him and the convicted businessman of sex crimes.

Moreover, the e-mail was signed off with, “A, HRH The Duke of York, KG.”

Following the latest disclosure, historian AN Wilson has told the Mail on Sunday that King Charles and Prince William “cannot be seen to support or underwrite” Prince Andrew any longer. “His very existence as an official royal is a scandal. So they must cast him out, for if they show him mercy, they are themselves implicated, and we are only a hair’s breadth away from a republic,” he added.
