Is a romantic reunion between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck possible?

After working together professionally, fans have been wondering about a possible patch-up between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.

On Monday, October 5, the 56-year-old songstress attended the New York premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman, where the 53-year-old actor made a surprise appearance as an executive producer.

Shortly after their red carpet outing, an insider told PEOPLE that there doesn't seem to be a romantic dynamic between the duo at the moment.

"Jennifer's doing well. She's focused on things that make her happy — family and work," the source revealed.

They further dished that there’s no denying the fact that Lopez has always enjoyed working with Affleck; however, despite that, there’s “no romantic reunion with Ben.”

"They're in a really good place. They continue to support each other. They're both proud of what they accomplished together," the tipster explained.

For those unfamiliar, the On The Floor hitmaker and the Good Will Hunting actor initially met in 2002 and began dating.

In 2004, they ended their engagement and continued living their own lives until 2021, when the pair rekindled their romance and ultimately tied the knot in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022.

Unfortunately, Lopez filed for divorce in 2024, and they eventually decided to go their separate ways, citing irreconcilable differences.

When asked about how it felt working with Affleck on the new musical after a tumultuous divorce, the Dance Again singer replied, “It was a really tough time. Every moment on set, every moment I was doing this role, I was so happy, and then it was like, back home, it was not great.”

She added, “And it was just like, oh, you know, 'How do I reconcile this?' "
