Meghan Markle receives public support from Chrissy Teigen amid media challenges

Meghan Markle gets heartfelt support from Chrissy Teigen following the Paris video controversy.

For those unversed, Markle recently faced backlash during Paris Fashion Week after posting a clip with her feet up on the dashboard of a car while driving past what many believed to be the crash site of Princess Diana.

The 39-year-old model attended Hello Sunshine’s Shine Away event, where she was advocating for early diabetes testing since her and John Legend’s son Miles’ diagnosis.

In an exclusive conversation with People magazine at the event, she shared insights into the friendship dynamics she shares with the Duchess of Sussex and addressed the negative perception people have of her.

“I adore her. I really adore her. I think she is so incredibly strong,” Teigen said.

She added that it deeply frustrates her to learn how “polarising” Markle is to some, insisting that she is simply “a kind, good person” who wants nothing but goodness for the people she truly loves.

Teigen believes people have far too much to say about the Duchess’s life.

“She just wants those things,” she said, adding “And people come up with all these different things that she could be about or what she wants, ... [but] it’s not that complicated.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Teigen specifically mentioned the strength and resilience Markle displays while dealing with media scrutiny.

“I think it’s cool that [she] is just like, ‘Listen, say whatever you want. I’m happy and I’m healthy and I feel good,’” the mom-of-four stated.
