Taylor Swift teases ‘exclusive’ announcement via ‘GMA’ and fans are already buzzing with theories

Taylor Swift is not slowing down anytime soon — the billionaire musician has a new mysterious announcement for her fans.

Social media accounts for Good Morning America sent Swifties into a frenzy after sharing the Life of a Showgirl creator’s “exclusive” teaser.

Dated October 12, the morning programme’s post revealed that “an exclusive Taylor Swift announcement!” is on the way and told the fans to “Tune in ONLY on GMA!”

The show’s announcement further featured the music video for The Fate of Ophelia, while a commentator narrated, “She’s at it again. Taylor Swift, shattering records with the biggest album debut in history with over 4 million units. And now, tomorrow morning, ‘GMA’ has a huge, new exclusive announcement on Taylor.”

“So what’s next from her? Find out on ‘Good Morning America’,” concluded the promo.

Since the post was shared on 12th of this month’s date and the teased announcement will be unveiled on the 13th, the timing was the first clue which eagle-eyed fans may have recognised.

To note, The Life of a Showgirl is Swift’s 12th studio album, while 13 has always been an important number for the Grammy winning singer-songwriter since her birthday falls on December 13.

Several fans are also banking on the announcement being about a documentary for the pop star’s Eras Tour.

“ERAS TOUR DOCUMENTARY,” one user enthusiastically added in the comments. While another shared, “Either it’s the Eras Tour documentary or a complete curveball. All I know is I’m scared and excited. Tomorrow is the 13th.”

Though the best summation of every Swiftie’s expectations came in the comment which read, “Whatever it is IM IN.” (Sic)

Meanwhile, all of the theories about Taylor Swift’s teaser will only be confirmed when Good Morning America airs at 7 a.m. ET on ABC, October 13.
