Meghan Markle is reportedly in a state of despair as she faces difficult turmoil in her life, which includes the drastic loss of her lifestyle brand, As Ever, despite receiving a huge investment from Netflix.

It is important to mention that in August 2025, the 44-year-old Duchess of Sussex and the streaming platform unveiled that they would team up on new projects, including shows and movies.

However, in the latest development, it is being reported that Meghan isn’t grossing as much from her major deal as she initially desired, since Netflix is receiving a significant share of the revenue.

“At the moment she is literally lost because the whole jam-making business did not work out in the way she thought it would. Nobody has seen any figures, but I don't think they are that good,” a tipster spilled the beans to the Mail.

The insider added, “I know they just released a Sauvignon Blanc, but it's not going to make her lots of money because Netflix owns the business.”

Dating back to a Bloomberg interview two months ago, the former actress confirmed that Netflix is currently the sole backer for her brand, and she has no plans to add more investors.

"I thought that it would be great just to build out my own team and really do it purely on my terms, but then I also would say Netflix made a really compelling sell,” Meghan Markle commented at the time.
