Taylor Swift announces a perfect October 13 surprise for Swifties

Taylor Swift is giving fans one final encore from her record-breaking Eras Tour — and it’s bigger than ever.

The pop icon announced on Good Morning America on Monday that she’s releasing both a new docuseries and a concert film, arriving on Disney+ on December 12.

The six-part docuseries, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, promises to take fans behind the scenes of her historic global tour.

Viewers will get a glimpse into life on the road with exclusive footage featuring Taylor’s family, close friends, and tourmates like Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter, plus appearances from A-list friends including Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch.

Alongside it, a new concert film, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, will showcase her last tour stop in Vancouver, including the long-awaited Tortured Poets Department era that was added later in the run.

Swift had already shattered records with her 2023 Eras Tour movie, but this new release promises to capture the tour’s true finale.

The announcement was made on October 13, which is known to be her lucky number.
