Her bizarre remarks about turning down marriage comes few days after Perry was caught kissing and cuddling Trudeau on her Caravelle yacht, off the coast of Santa Barbara, in California.

The rumoured couple sparked romance rumours in July when they were spotted having an intimate dinner at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal, just weeks after she announced her split from fiancé Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a 4-year-old daughter named Daisy.

As for the former Canadian prime minister, Justin Trudeau was married to Sophie Grégoire from 2005 to 2023.
