Diane Keaton had long been open about her evolving relationship with beauty and cosmetic enhancements.

In a 2014 interview on The Dr. Oz Show, the Oscar-winning star shared her thoughts on aging with humor, admitting that she sometimes struggled with her reflection but ultimately learned to find comfort in authenticity.

“Beauty is honestly a feeling to me,” she shared. “It’s not a face in the mirror all the time.”

The Marvin's Room actress also spoke candidly about choosing not to undergo plastic surgery, explaining she preferred to age naturally even joking about her “thinning hair” and trademark hats.

“I usually wear berets or bowlers to hide my Spock ears and thinning hair,” she said.

In a later interview with AARP, she said, “If I wanted to be prettier, fillers and Botox might help, but I think I’m past all that.”

Keaton’s humor and honesty made her a rare voice in Hollywood’s beauty conversation.

Her confidence, individuality, and authenticity remain as timeless as her signature style.
