Kate Middleton once again proved she’s never one to stand on the sidelines during the Prince and Princess of Wales’s surprise trip to Northern Ireland.

The royal rolled up her sleeves to embrace the local culture by learning the ancient art of linen making and sampling cider in true countryside fashion.

At a flax farm in County Tyrone, the Princess of Wales tried her hand at a traditional flax breaking method, immersing herself in the heritage craft with enthusiasm.

Prince William playfully remarked that he had picked up “lots of new words,” a nod to the technical jargon of linen production.

Later, the royal couple headed to Long Meadow Cider Farm in County Armagh, where they joined a lively bake-off, crafting potato apple bread and sampling freshly pressed cider vinegar.

Kate smiled, saying, “I like that … I haven’t taken it as a shot like this before,” while William’s humor stole the show.

As Catherine McKeever teased him to “keep it a circle,” William laughed, “A circle? Now you tell me! This is a new variety!” His witty banter continued as he peeled apples, saying, “Do keep up!,” a moment that perfectly captured the couple’s playful charm and hands-on spirit.
