Kylie Jenner's musical debut, a nostalgic nod to her early days
Kylie Jenner's 'Fourth Strike' marks her first official vocal performance

Once upon a time in 2015, 18-year-old Kylie Jenner launched her first Kylie Lip Kits, stepping into the beauty world with bold teal hair and her signature full lips and that era gave birth to her iconic alter ego King Kylie.
Now, nearly ten years later Kylie is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Kylie Cosmetics.
Although she isn’t a confirmed billionaire anymore she’s still incredibly successful. To mark the occasion, she brought back her King Kylie persona and recreated her old “GLOSSES” commercial with a brand-new song and music video called Fourth Strike.
Back in 2016, fans thought Kylie was secretly singing in her lip gloss ad's background track a song titled 3 Strikes by the band Terror Jr. Although the band denied her involvement back then the mystery around the vocals sparked lasting fan curiosity.
In 2024, Kylie began posting TikToks singing along to 3 Strikes, reigniting that nostalgia. Lisa Vitale, Terror Jr.'s lead singer responded to one of those TikToks with a touching message.
She said in a March 2024 TikTok, “I just want to say thank you because eight years ago, I was working at an animal hospital, I was making music on nights and weekends, and then you put my band’s song in your lip gloss commercial and my whole life changed.”
Kylie even left a sweet comment: “love u guys.”
Now, the mother-of-two and Terror Jr. have teamed up officially on a new track Fourth Strike. This time, Kylie really is singing.
“There was a little rumor 10 years ago that I was the one actually singing on 3 strikes! it wasn’t me (wish it was) so I had the idea to come together for fourth strike and it would actually be ME FEATURED!” Kylie Jenner wrote on Instagram.
Whether she’s launching a pop star era or not, fans are loving it and playing Fourth Strike on repeat.
