Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returns: Discover the 2025 edition’s dazzling secrets

The glamorous stage for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was set at Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York, October 15, and the seductive soiree boasted a huge star-studded lineup.

From the Hadid sisters lighting up the runway to major celebrity attendees, the enchanting affair had something for everyone.

Described as “The biggest LIVE event in fashion and entertainment”, let’s dive right into the highlights from the nightlong festivities.

Debutants

While a lot of familiar faces graced the fashion show’s runway, a couple of notable celebrities also made their Victoria’s Secret debuts this year.

Adut Akech, Angelina Kendall, Amelia Gray, Emily Ratajkowski, Precious Lee were among this year’s debutant models. While actress Barbie Ferreira, WNBA star Angel Reese, and influencer Gabriel Moura made up the celebrity debutant lineup.

The White Lotus star Patrick Schwarzenegger was also on hand to support his wife, Abby Champion, on her debut during the show.

Backstage

For a show as big as Victoria’s Secret, the backstage consists of equally fascinating thrills as the ones which unfold onstage — likely even more.

What you didn’t catch on your screens, the models lived backstage. Various runway stars were interviewed for the brand’s Instagram page as they got ready.

Additionally, the stunning looks were provided courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Jawara Wauchope and a true legend among makeup artists, Pat McGrath.

Speaking about the opportunity with Harper’s Bazaar, Wauchope praised the Victoria’s Secret team, led by executive creative director Adam Selman: “It was an absolute pleasure working with them. They brought me in, and we had conversations about bringing back the sexy, big blowout, but we wanted to modernise it. So, we’re doing a sleek gloss with a little bit of volume.”

While beauty guru McGrath shed light on the show’s makeup look, revealing, “Adam said he wanted the girls to just glow and be themselves. We have our Divine Skin Essence and Hydrating Glow Cream as a beginning, and are using Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection foundation all over the face to give them that real serum glow.”

Performers

The singers to delight the Victoria’s Secret show with their lively performances this year were Madison Beer, Karol G, and Missy Elliot. The Cut further reported that K-Pop group TWICE, “who opened their set with their song ‘This Is For’ and danced in fuzzy pink boots”, were also part of the lineup.

Bombshell Runway

In collaboration with the fashion show, the lingerie brand also unveiled “an ultra-special, limited-edition” fragrance, Bombshell Runway. Victoria’s Secret official website revealed, “Not only is it a scent worth coveting, but it also just so happens to be covered in Swarovski® Crystals.”
