Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy remembers the late singer on first death anniversary

Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy, who had been dating the singer for two years, reveals how she is spending the first death anniversary of her late boyfriend.

It is pertinent to mention that Payne breathed his last on October 16 last year, after falling off a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the young age of 31.

On Wednesday, October 15, the 26-year-old influencer shared in a TikTok video that she’ll be going on an influencer trip in Miami on account of the One Direction former bandmate’s death anniversary.

However, Cassidy felt the need to clear the air that although she was initially reluctant to accept the invitation and hop onto the airplane, as she shared, “Liam would want me to go.”

“I feel like no matter what I do, I get commentary. If I make this video, people are going to be like, 'Of course she had to make this video',” she continued.

Cassidy added, “Or if I didn’t make this video and just went on the trip, people would be like, 'What is she doing? How is she not in bed crying?'"

Elsewhere in the video, she acknowledged that it’s not going to be the easiest week for her, noting that grief comes in so many waves.

For the unversed, Liam Payne and Kate Cassidy first sparked dating rumours when the duo was spotted attending a Halloween party together in October 2022.
