Kevin Federline has made shocking claims about his ex-wife Britney Spears in his upcoming memoir You Thought You Knew, alleging that the pop star used cocaine while she was still breastfeeding their two young sons.
According to an excerpt obtained by Us Weekly, the incident took place at his Playing With Fire album release party.
Federline recalls walking into his dressing room during his 2006 Playing With Fire album release party to find Britney and a friend “snorting a fat line of coke.”
He added that the moment “was surreal” and ultimately led to the end of their marriage.
Their sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, were reportedly just 1 year and 1 month old at the time.
Federline claimed he pleaded with Britney not to nurse the children afterward and later involved his lawyer, who sent a legal letter advising against breastfeeding.
Days later, Britney filed for divorce, officially ending their two-year marriage.
Britney’s representatives have not addressed the specific drug allegation but dismissed Federline’s memoir as “sensational,” accusing him of profiting from her name now that child support has ended.
Spears also broke her silence on X, calling the memoir “a book of white lies” and adding that the constant gaslighting from her ex-husband is “extremely hurtful and exhausting.”
