Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s highly anticipated film, The Drama, has been set for a worldwide debut after a year of filming.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the American independent entertainment company A24 announced on Friday, October 17, that the forthcoming movie, directed by Kristoffer Borgli, will be arriving in theatres on April 3, 2026.

It is important to mention that, despite revealing the release date, the creators of the movie have kept the plot discreet, only disclosing that it’s a rom-com revolving around the chronicles of a couple, portrayed by Zendaya and Robert, whose love and nuptials face challenging hurdles.

Alongside the Spider-man actress and the Twilight actor, the star-studded cast lineup includes Mamoudou Athie, Hailey Gates, and Alana Haim.

Previously, speaking to a French magazine, Pattinson shared his first-hand experience reading the script.

"I was desperately looking for its meaning, writing pages and pages of textual analysis. I ended up calling Zendaya the night before shooting the scene," the 39-year-old English actor stated.

He added, "I shared my doubts with her, I spoke for two hours, and after a while, very calmly, she made me understand that the line just said what it meant to say, that there was no hidden meaning."

Notably, Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are also set to star in Christopher Nolan’s eagerly awaited movie, The Odyssey, releasing on July 17, 2026.
