Meghan Markle, Prince Harry elegantly match to support their friend Kelly Zafjen
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attend the George Zafjen Tennis Tournament

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a dashing pair at this year’s George Zafjen Tournament for tennis, Saturday, October 18.
Founded by the Duchess of Sussex’s close friend, Kelly Zafjen, the charity tournament is also known as Tennis for Tots and helps raise “vital funds to support young people who have experienced foster care”, per its official website.
As the Duke and the Duchess’ Archewell Foundation is one of the event’s sponsors, the couple is often seen supporting the cause and this year was no exception.

“Proudly supporting the George Zafjen Tennis Tournament,” Meghan wrote on her Instagram stories, accompanied with a footage that featured her friend Kelly, her husband Julian, and daughter Lily.
In one of the snaps from the montage, the former actress can be seen making her way down a corridor, hand in hand with her friend of many years.

The Duchess was decked out in a classy white Carolina Herrera dress and the Etna heels from Jimmy Choo.
On the next slide, the Duke was photographed hugging Kelly’s daughter, which his wife captioned, “Our other favourite Lily” — a reference to the couple’s own daughter, Lilibet.

Though the charity tournament itself is older, it was renamed after George Zafjen, Kelly Zafjen’s son and Lily’s twin brother, after he passed away from Covid and viral meningitis in 2022.
At the time, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry donated $5,000 to a GoFundMe fundraiser in honour of the 9-year-old George Zafjen’s passing. The donation was made in the name of their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
