Britney Spears recently dropped a bombshell post just after her ex-husband's Kevin Federline' memoir that included bizarre claims against the singer.

The 43-year-old former pop star took Instagram and claimed that she had suffered "brain damage".

While sharing a snap of herself riding a horse that was taken from behind, Spears captioned it with a heartfelt and somewhat cryptic message referencing 2014's movie Maleficent.

"My back… my blades… my wings… remember the movie Maleficent such an incredible movie!!!!' the Toxic hitmaker began, referencing the Disney film about the Sleeping Beauty villain, which starred Angelina Jolie as the titular character.

Britney Spears talks about 'traumatic experience'

"Remember the king tried to kill her but instead a guy secretly took her wings but anything from the father in heaven the real father whom is the one I only claim who loves unconditionally nothing is EVER FORGOTTEN,” the Gimme More songstress digressed, adding, "Her wings were holy so the king couldn’t take them not one person could say they were restored and hidden locked in a secret holy stain glass church…not that this has any relevance with me but I do find it incredibly interesting."

Spears' references to "brain damage" might have also been referred to a 2019 episode in which she was institutionalised against her will as in 2022, she claimed that the episode left her with permanent nerve damage.

Moreover, in the same post, the Womanizer songstress also described a "traumatic experience" that she had apparently written about in her 2023’s memoir, The Woman In Me.

"As some of you know at the end of my book where for 4 months I no longer had my private door and illegally was forced to not use my feet or body to go anywhere… for a person like me who understands the sacredness is god speed… it did more than hurt my body,” Britney Spears said, apparently referencing a period in which she was institutionalised during her since-ended conservatorship.
