Tyler Perry's accuser speaks out for first in $260mn lawsuit

Tyler Perry's accuser has spoken out for the first time in a $260 million lawsuit in which the alleged victim accused the actor of sexual harassment and assault.

According to Radar Online, an alleged victim Derek Dixon, who is also a fellow actor, admitted that it's been hard.

For the The Oval actor, he could no longer "stay silent" about his alleged experience.

Dixon went on to say, "There's a lot of shame around it. Just trying to think what you could have done better and having to deal with the judgment of how you could've ended it better without being in that situation.”

The lawsuit was filed by the Losing It actor against the Don't Look Up star in June 2025  in which the 34-year-old actor claimed that the 56-year-old actor promised career advancement in exchange for compliance.

However, as per Derek Dixon, Perry, instead subjected him to unwanted advances, including explicit text messages and physical incidents at two different occasions.

Tyler Perry's legal team, on other hand, calls Dixon's $260 million lawsuit a "scam" and "fabricated claims".
