Miranda Kerr is opening up about how she and her husband, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, manage screen time for their kids.
During an appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show, the 42-year-old model revealed that Spiegel has firm rules about how much time their sons Hart, Myles, and Pierre spend on devices.
“My husband is very anti-screens for the young ones, because that’s the way he was raised,” Kerr shared.
Still, the couple has found a middle ground. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel said she convinced her husband to allow some screen time on special occasions.
“I’ve said to him, ‘Look, something that feels good to me is maybe on the weekend or a special occasion, curling up with the kids - the six and seven-year-old, and the teenager if he wants to join in--and watching a movie.’ And he’s like, ‘Okay, but not every weekend,’” she said with a laugh.
Kerr also praised Snapchat’s Family Center feature, which helps parents talk to their children about online safety. “It explains some of the dangers that are happening online,” she added.
Kerr and Spiegel, who married in 2017, share two children together and co-parent her eldest son, Flynn, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.
