Emma Stone makes bombshell claim about Andrew Garfield

Emma Stone recalls that her ex and former Amazing Spider-Man co-star, Andrew Garfield, lied to her about his surprise appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

During an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the La La Land actress revealed she had categorically asked Garfield whether he was part of Marvel's 2021 No Way Home , and he blatantly denied the news.

“I asked him if he was going to be in that, and he said, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about.’ I thought that meant no, but it wasn’t,” Stone shared while laughing.

Breathe star, who secretly reprised his role as Peter Parker alongside Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland, later admitted he kept his involvement a secret from everyone, even Stone.

“She called me a jerk,” he once joked. Despite their breakup in 2015, they are still close friends.

Emma, now married Dave McCary, said she hasn’t seen No Way Home yet but called Garfield’s commitment impressive. “He kept it really close to the vest. Good for him,” she added.
