Inside Angelina Jolie’s stressful Château Miraval dispute with Brad Pitt
Angelina Jolie's emotional struggle amid Château Miraval legal battle

Angelina Jolie is currently in a state of utter despair and distress as she faces a legal battle with her former husband, Brad Pitt, over their French winery, Château Miraval, which they co-owned in 2008.
The dispute began after Jolie sold her share of the estate in 2021 to Tenute del Mondo, a subsidiary of the Stoli Group owned by Yuri Shefler.
Pitt claims the sale was made without his prior consent, breaching an agreement that neither party could sell their stake without the other’s approval, and accuses Jolie of acting out of bitterness following tensions from their custody dispute.
The mom of six, however, denies that any such agreement existed, stating that she sold her stake for financial independence and to move on from the painful memories tied to her marriage.
In a recent development, an insider revealed to National Enquirer that the long-standing feud with Pitt is causing Jolie sleepless nights and significant tension because she has “got so much to lose.”
“She’s totally committed to fighting this case with everything she’s got, there’s no other choice, but it’s costing a fortune and draining her mentally,” the source stated.
The confidant added, “The very real prospect of total financial ruin keeps her up night after night.”
This update on Jolie comes after her legal team filed new documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, October 6, where she disclosed that neither she nor her children have set foot on the property since the sale.
It is worth noting that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who began dating in 2004 and married in 2014, separated in 2016 and finalised their divorce in 2024.
