Chris Martin’s daughter, Apple Martin, may have Coldplay in her DNA but her first live performance has left fans divided.

The 21-year-old made her singing debut Friday at Nashville’s Cannery Hall, performing with the Jade Street band while her famous dad watched from the audience.

Apple belted out “Satellite,” a track she co-wrote with fellow Vanderbilt University students Eli Meyuhas and Zachery Zwelling.

Clips from the show quickly made their way to TikTok, receiving mixed reactions.

While some praised her confidence and stage presence, others were less kind, accusing her of sounding “like she was performing karaoke while drunk.”

“The nepotism is wild,” one comment read. “People with ordinary talent get the spotlight.”

Another user quipped, “She should let her dad stay the singer in the family.”

Despite the online roasting, Apple isn’t exactly new to music. She already holds songwriting credits on her dad’s Coldplay hits “Let Somebody Go” and “feelslikeimfallinginlove.”
