King Charles' latest decision regarding his brother, Prince Andrew, has been described as a "parting gift" to his own son, Prince William.

For the unversed, the monarch’s 65-year-old brother announced earlier this month that he would no longer use his royal titles and honours, including the title Duke of York.

Now, as per Radar Online’s source, King Charles III wanted to resolve what one courtier called "the Andrew problem" before his son claims the crown.

A senior royal source, in this regard, dished out, "Charles saw this as his way of protecting the institution – and his son. He didn't want William inheriting a situation where his uncle still held titles or ceremonial honors.”

According to the source, this was the 76-year-old monarch’s final act of housekeeping before the next reign began.

It is to be noted here that , the prince’s removal from his privileges actually follows a fresh criminal probe by Scotland Yard into claims he tried to use a police bodyguard to discredit his s-- abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre whose posthumous memoir, "Nobody's Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice" accused the Duke of York numerous times.

Virginia, who died by suicide earlier this year, in her memoir, accused Prince Andrew of being "entitled” as if he believed having intimacy with her was his birthright.
