Rock fans are facing the loss of Ace Frehley, the legendary KISS guitarist, who passed away last week at the age of 74.

According to reports, the Morris County Medical Examiner in New Jersey confirmed that toxicology tests are underway to determine his official cause of death.

While no postmortem was conducted, medical officials are carrying out a detailed external examination, with final results expected in the coming weeks.

Frehley had been hospitalized earlier this month after suffering a brain bleed following a fall in his studio.

Despite being placed on life support, his family made the heartbreaking decision to remove him from the ventilator after his condition worsened.

Known for his signature guitar solos, Ace Frehley was one of the founding members of KISS, alongside Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and Peter Criss.

He performed with the iconic rock band from 1973 to 1982, leaving behind a legacy that helped define rock and roll’s golden era.

This chapter remains open until doctors complete the toxicology tests.
