Miley Cyrus finds healing through music in 'Avatar: Ash and Fire'

Miley Cyrus is lending her voice and her heart to the highly anticipated film Avatar: Ash and Fire.

On Wednesday, October 22, the Flowers hitmaker took to Instagram to share her excitement and gratitude for contributing an original song to the movie’s soundtrack.

“Honoured to support Avatar: Fire and Ash with an original song I’ve written with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt,” Cyrus wrote, adding, “Having been personally affected by fire and being rebuilt from the ashes, this project holds profound meaning for me.”

She further added, “Thank you, Jim, for the opportunity to turn that experience into musical medicine. The film’s themes of unity, healing, and love resonate deeply within my soul, and to be even a small star in the universe the Avatar family has created is truly a dream come true.”

According to reports, Miley Cyrus’ new track, Dream as One, serves as a touching tribute to her Malibu home, which she lost in the 2018 Woolsey fire.

The emotional song will be released on November 14, ahead of the film’s premiere on December 12.
