Dakota Johnson reveals turn-offs in men following split from Chris Martin

Dakota Johnson recently made remarks about traits she finds incredibly displeasing in men after her split from Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin.

In a Q&A video shared to Vogue Germany's YouTube channel published on Tuesday, October 21, the 36-year-old actress spoke about her turn-offs in men.

When asked if she has any red flags in the opposite gender, she instantly quipped, "Men who wear flip flops in public. Run."

The Materialists star also expressed her dislike for men who put “cologne or scents on anyone for that matter."

“No, I don’t love it,” she remarked.

This comment from Dakota comes after she parted ways with Chris in July 2025 after being together for eight years.

In a July 9 interview on Today, she shared what she’s not looking for in a partner.

“Just like, not an imbecile man,” she simply replied.

It is worth noting that the Madame Web actress and the Fix You crooner had an on-again, off-again relationship since 2017.

Dakota and Chris were also speculated to be secretly engaged until they called it off earlier this year.

“Their relationship has been over for a long time, they just haven't been able to figure out to make it official,” an insider revealed to the Daily Mail.
