Despite being considered instrumental figures in Prince Andrew’s imminent exit from the royal family, as well as the developments towards it so far, Prince William and Kate Middleton have been largely missing from the public eye ever since the announcement of the disgraced royal’s title removal.

Sources are now explaining the reason — it is thought to be the Prince and Princess of Wales’ inevitable duties as parents which have kept them away from making any significant moves recently.

While the couple usually moves to their more secluded Norfolk residence, Anmer Hall, during this time of the year, the final stages of their permanent relocation to Forest Lodge have also been keeping them busy.

“The builders have been working flat out, week-in, week-out, so that the family could move in as soon as possible. Christmas was always the deadline but it's great that it's going to happen much earlier,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Furthermore, the renovation of the Kensington household’s “forever home” was described as being “quite a fun process” for Princess Kate in particular.

“She loves interior design and is a big champion of the British textiles industry. After all, this will be their forever home. They are ready as a family to move forwards,” the insider added.

Prince William and Kate Middleton will soon move into their new Windsor property with their three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, while Prince Andrew is likely to move out of his property in the same area, called the Royal Lodge.
