Prince Andrew offered royal palace? Latest in former duke’s relocation
Could Prince Andrew still reside in a Palace after his exit from Royal Lodge?
Prince Andrew has reportedly been offered the chance to live in a palace amid the breakout from his multiple scandals — but not by the British royal establishment.
Sources have claimed that the former Duke of York has received an offer to move to a palace in Abu Dhabi from the city’s leader, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to GB News, “Andrew’s courtesy towards Emirati royalty during his tenure as Britain’s trade envy is understood to have kept him in the good graces of the Middle Eastern state.”
While an insider claimed, “Abu Dhabi’s royal family have made it clear to Andrew that the palace is his if he wants it. It gives him an option should his position in the UK become untenable.”
It is important to note that Andrew currently faces a rapidly approaching ouster from Royal Lodge, his Windsor Park residence of the past two decades, as both King Charles and Prince William have ostensibly “had enough”.
While Prince Andrew had relinquished his titles pertaining to the Dukedom of York and the Order of the Garter this month and is coming up against further calls to have his royal honours stripped legally and permanently.
